Last updated on Jun 23, 2026 22:30

Engage your website visitors immediately. The Banner Slider Module allows you to manage promotional banners and display them as a clean, responsive slideshow in the topbar area of your website using a direct admin manager.

Core Features

Accessible via the main admin sidebar menu under Banners, the module automates frontend showcases:

1. Banner Resource CRUD

Create, read, update, and delete individual banner items. Upload promotional images from the integrated Media Library or direct file upload.

2. Visibility Scheduling

Configure banner display windows. Set active start and end dates/times, allowing promotions or announcements to automatically publish and expire.

3. Custom Slides Order

Manually control the order of banners in the topbar rotation list. Drag or assign sequence indexes to prioritize important announcements.

4. Visibility Control Toggles

Instantly show or hide specific banners with a simple active/inactive toggle switch without deleting the slide configuration.

5. Hook Integration & Responsive Layout

Renders a mobile-friendly banner carousel in the topbar area. The module hooks into the theme layout system automatically for zero-configuration setup.

PolyCMS is an open-source content management system for modern web applications, inspired by the WordPress plugin and theme ecosystem but built on top of the Laravel framework. It is designed to provide a complete foundation for content publishing, e-commerce, multi-language support, and extensible module architecture — powered by a Vue 3 admin panel with data served entirely through RESTful APIs.

Whether you're building a blog, a documentation site, an online store, or a multi-tenant SaaS platform, PolyCMS aims to give you a comprehensive starting scaffold so you can ship quickly and extend easily through integrated modules and themes. In particular, themes in PolyCMS follow a multi-theme architecture — one Main theme and an unlimited number of Sub themes can run side by side on the same installation.

We hope this ready-made foundation proves useful for building your next website, blog, or web app, saving you from having to start completely from scratch.
