Project Hub Module: Portfolios, Roadmaps & Changelogs

Last updated on Jun 24, 2026 11:47

Manage and showcase your projects lifecycle. The Project Hub Module allows you to build portfolios, document feature roadmaps, publish release changelogs, and link related products natively.

Core Features

Configure settings and add records under Project Hub in the admin sidebar:

1. Project Portfolio CRUD

Create and manage detailed project profile pages with unique project codes, active/inactive statuses, descriptions, and custom client/author attributes.

2. Product & Category Pivot Linking

Link projects directly to e-commerce products or organize them under custom categories using the core categories manager (scoped with type project).

3. Release & Changelog Tracking

Document releases history. Log version numbers, publication dates, and release details, then showcase them under a clean Changelog layout tab.

4. Roadmap Feature Management

Build public roadmap lists to keep customers updated on upcoming features. Group tasks into status milestones (e.g. Planning, In Progress, Completed).

5. Headless JSON API & Layout Blocks

Exposes public endpoints (/api/v1/projects etc.) to consume portfolio data in headless setups, and provides showcase blocks for landing page builders.

PolyCMS is an open-source content management system for modern web applications, inspired by the WordPress plugin and theme ecosystem but built on top of the Laravel framework. It is designed to provide a complete foundation for content publishing, e-commerce, multi-language support, and extensible module architecture — powered by a Vue 3 admin panel with data served entirely through RESTful APIs.

Whether you're building a blog, a documentation site, an online store, or a multi-tenant SaaS platform, PolyCMS aims to give you a comprehensive starting scaffold so you can ship quickly and extend easily through integrated modules and themes. In particular, themes in PolyCMS follow a multi-theme architecture — one Main theme and an unlimited number of Sub themes can run side by side on the same installation.

We hope this ready-made foundation proves useful for building your next website, blog, or web app, saving you from having to start completely from scratch.
